“The Little Bird Postcard Project” is a global, community-based arts project facilitated by Mackay artists Karen Hurford and Natalie Field.

Community members from near and far were invited to participate in the project by contributing a bird-themed, original artwork of postcard size. The project was open to all, irrespective of experience, background or ability and was designed to be easily accessible, inclusive and inexpensive.

To date, more than 1000 art works have been received from all over Australia and abroad.
