Free Bernadette Boscacci Public Art Workshop Moranbah

Two-day Public Art workshop:
Monday and Tuesday, 5-6 September 2022.

The free two-day workshop will equip participants with practical knowledge regarding the process of creating and installing great public art in a public space. Participants will be encouraged to share their ideas for public art. There will be some fun team activities, one of which will involve creating a model of a public art installation.

Townsville based artist and acclaimed public art practitioner Bernadette Boscacci is coming to Moranbah to deliver a free two-day workshop for interested community members. The free two-day workshop in the Moranbah Youth And Community Centre, Appleton Street on Monday and Tuesday, 5-6 September 2022 will equip participants with practical knowledge regarding the process of creating and installing great public art in a public space. Participants will be encouraged to share their ideas for public art. There will be some fun team activities, one of which will involve creating a model of a public art installation.

This workshop is a strategic initiative of Isaac Regional Council supported by funding from the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Isaac Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

Each day of the workshop will run from 9.30am to 3.00pm with breaks for morning tea and lunch. Light refreshments will be provided.
