Game Rules
- Teams must consist of 5 players on the court at all times.
- Teams may register up to 2 substitute players.
- Players must be 12 years of age or older.
- Each team must nominate a Team Captain.
- Knockout tournament, where top 2 tournament from the shootout will got straight through to semi finals.
- If a team loses they are eliminated
- Two 10 minute halves with a 2 minute half time in between
- If game is tired at full time there will be a jump ball that leads into a golden point, which ever team scores first wins the game.
- Rolling Subs so anyone can tag out at anytime
- Standard basketball scoring applies:
- Inside the arc = 2 points
- Outside the arc = 3 points
- Free Throw = 1 point
- The referee's decision is final.
- No dunking or hanging on the ring.
- Fighting, abusive language or unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Players may be removed from the competition at the discretion of event organisers.
