So what is a Community-Corporate Plan?
In Queensland, the Local Government Act 2009 requires Councils to produce a five-year corporate plan which outlines its strategic direction and how it will measure progress towards its vision.
Towards Tomorrow – Isaac’s Community-Corporate Plan sets Isaac's long-term vision, medium term goal and short-term priorities for our region. The plan has been structured around six strategic themes:
- Leading and enabling a changing world
- Engaged communities
- Inclusive growth for a progressive economy
- Liveability through design and infrastructure
- Vibrant natural assets
- Governance for accountability
This plan will provide the roadmap for our Council in determining our annual budgets and Annual Operating Plans for the next 5 years.
