Help us turn the wetlands into a cultural masterpiece!
Isaac Regional Council is calling on community groups, artists, creators, food enthusiasts, and businesses to get involved in the 2025 St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend.
Logie-winning green thumb Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia will plant seeds of inspiration. We have a captivating program as colourful as a wetland sunset, featuring food experiences, art, storytelling, and entertainment for a family-friendly weekend.
Calling all stallholders, artisans, and creatives! We’re keen as mustard to showcase handmade treasures, from exquisite homewares to jewellery and original art, alongside delicious food creations. Wetland wanderers will also enjoy meeting makers, learning forgotten trades, and diving into creative workshops and demos.
We’re particularly interested in:
Wellness experiences
Food vendors, from paddock-to-plate fare to sweet treats
Cottage industries with unique products or stories
Art and craft stalls
Hands-on workshops and demos
Please note, this is an environmentally friendly event – we aim to keep it as green as our wetlands! Festival Highlights:
Friday, 27 June 2025: Dive into the festival with the Sunset Cultural Experience, spotlighting captivating performances by Indigenous dancers and musicians.
Saturday, 28 June 2025: A jam-packed day of wetland wonders! Explore markets, hands-on workshops, gourmet food stalls, nature walks, bird tours, town tours, and even crab races. Wrap it up with live music to dance the night away.
Sunday, 29 June 2025: Sink your teeth into more workshops, tours, and nature walks, capped off by the ultimate culinary showdown: the Cook-Off featuring Costa Georgiadis. The festival wraps up at 1pm, leaving you inspired and full!
