Consultation has concluded

Greater Whitsunday Communities has been engaged by Isaac Regional Council to conduct research to understand the unmet needs of young people aged 10-18 in the Isaac region. We would like to hear about the needs of young people across the region, including those who are at-risk of, or are currently experiencing, disadvantage, marginalisation and disengagement.

The project will be a multidimensional view of the needs of young people, service availability and accessibility, and will include data from service organisations, official sources and from young people and their families. When the findings of this research are anonymously collated, there may be opportunities for service providers and young people to guide the development of service capacity to fill any unmet needs identified in delivery of services to the young people of the Isaac region.

We have already received an excellent response from 10-18-year-olds and their parents. However, we would like to hear from more individuals who work with people aged 10-18 years. Interested parties can complete the anonymous survey below, which will be open until February 28th, 2021.

There will also be opportunities for 10-18year-olds to participate in small focus group discussions or private interviews until February 28th, 2021.

All data from the survey, interviews and focus group discussions will be recorded and reported in a way as to protect anonymity.

If you are someone who works directly with 10-18-year-olds (a Service Provider), use this link or QR code to complete the survey.
