Consultation has concluded
Nebo Showgrounds is an important part of our Isaac region’s social fabric.
It is a critical piece of social infrastructure that supports the agricultural industry and brings surrounding communities together for events.
The 25-hectare area is home to 13 regular user groups who enjoy the quintessential lifestyle activities regional Queensland thrives on.
Nebo Showgrounds is booked out for more than 80 days of the year, attracting 20,000 visitors annually.
According to Tourism Research Australia modelling, this equates to a local economy return of approximately $1.2 million.
The Nebo Showgrounds Master Plan is about modernising traditional facilities, enabling infrastructure to meet future needs, and driving a collaborative that leads to sustainable communities.
It is an ambitious plan that will continually transform the space over the next 20 years.
The feedback we receive will be used to further refine the Plan. Following this, the updated plan will be presented to Council for endorsement.
