Each year Isaac Regional Council celebrates our youth by hosting a series of events and activities designed to engage, educate, entertain and enthuse the young people of our region. While the events each year are generally popular, we want to create experiences that are designed for youth, by youth, with a focus on the creative power of Isaac.

So, youth of Isaac, we’re looking at you! In preparation for Youth Week 2021, Isaac Regional Council is sending a call for Expressions of Interest from young artists, crafters, creators, tinkers, big thinkers and everyone in between. We’re looking to the creative youth in Isaac to assist us in building a new Youth Week offering and want your help to plan, organise and deliver a schedule of events. Interested youth can play a key role and share their skills and talents with peers from across the region.

We are looking for Expressions of Interest from anyone aged 12-25 who wants to:

• provide art works for gallery displays
• perform at events
• run art/creative/manual skills workshops for other young people
• learn how to turn their creative passion into a sustainable business career
• assist with event planning and logistics.

Following your Expression of Interest, Council staff will work with you to develop our best Youth Week yet. You can contribute to this process as much or as little as you’d like. More details will follow once your Expression of Interest has been received
