Event Description:
Explore the versatility of the drunkard’s path block to create a modern quilt using one of artist Tara Glastonbury’s quilt patterns - Tall Poppy, Bloomin’ Lot or Surfacing.
Learn how to sew accurate no-pin curves of various sizes with templates and complete either a cushion, bag front, or make a start on a bigger quilt from the pattern you have chosen.
Whether you’re new to curves or looking to expand your skills, this is a fun and flexible class to grow your confidence.
You will receive a copy of your chosen pattern in class. After booking your place, you’ll be emailed the yardage information for the supplies that you need to buy.
Paper templates will be provided in class and Jenny Haynes (Papper Sax Sten) acrylic templates will be available to purchase.
What to bring:
- Sewing machine in good working order

- general sewing kit (pins, scissors, stitch ripper, etc)
- water bottle, snacks and lunch
Important details:
