Pre-registration for the Blue Mountain Bolt is now closed. You can still register on the day so please arrive at the Middlemount Sportsgrounds by 7.40am on Sunday 5 September to sign up. See you there!
Are you the King of the Hill or the Queen of the Climb? Or are you more comfortable taking a scenic stroll to the top? No matter your preference, we want you to join us for the Blue Mountain Bolt!
In partnership with Move It NQ, we’re inviting people of all ages to sprint, jog or walk from the Middlemount Sportsground up to Blue Mountain Park and back. The 4.3km course features some serious incline but the view from the top is breathtaking (if you’re planning on stopping to enjoy it!).
For those that enjoy a challenge, we’re awarding places for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Open and Junior Men’s and Open and Junior Women’s categories. If style is more your speed, we’ve got you covered with a special $100 Shop Isaac gift card being awarded to the best dressed entrant. And if you’re just hoping to be part of the action you won’t go home empty handed either, with every pre-registered entrant receiving a memento on completion of the course.
The bolt will kick off at 8am sharp so if you’re hoping to participate, you’ll need to check in at the Sportsground from 7am-7.45am.
And once you’ve tackled the climb join us for BBQ breakfast back at the Sportsgrounds to round out a weekend of celebrations for Middlemount’s 40th anniversary.
