Do I have to register?
If you're hoping to compete for a place or be in the running for best-dressed you must be registered. You can do this via the form below or on the day. Pre-registered participants will receive a race memento.
Can I complete the course with children? Can children compete?
Under 13s can complete the course but they must be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian for the duration of the race.
Can I complete the course while pushing a pram?
Yes but we encourage participants with prams to walk only as the course is very steep in places.
What will the category (Open/Junior Men, Open/Junior Women) winners receive?
1st place - $100 Shop Isaac gift card + certificate
2nd place - $50 Shop Isaac gift card+ certificate
3rd place- $20 Shop Isaac gift card+ certificate
The best-dressed entrant will receive a $100 Shop Isaac gift card.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In the event that poor weather impacts on the safety of the course, all pre-registered participants will be notified via phone and email.
Council will also advise community via social media.
Where does the race start/end?
The race will commence and conclude at Middlemount Sportsground, on the road that runs between the fields.
Where/when is the BBQ breakfast?
The BBQ breakfast will be served near the start/finish line at the conclusion of the race. Participants and spectators are invited to enjoy the breakfast.
Do I have to run?
No way! Walk, jog, dash, skip - whatever works for you. Please note that bicycles and scooters are not permitted on the course.
Is the course on the road?
Yes - the entire route will be closed to traffic for the duration of the race and the course is only on-road.
