One of the most prominent champions for mental health in Australia is Craig Hamilton.

Top athlete and former 16-year underground coal miner Craig, shifted to a full-time profession in radio when he had a public mental break and was hospitalised for Bipolar Disorder therapy, anxiety and depression.

As a result of his own struggles with mental illness, Craig has grown to be one of Beyond Blues’ top ambassadors, the author of two books, and an in-demand motivational speaker who uses his own struggles to advocate for overcoming stigma and discrimination in the field of mental health.

Craig is touring the Isaac region, outlining the health and well-being strategies he has developed to not only manage his illness, but to continue to thrive in his daily life.
