Event Description: Unlock your creativity in each hands-on abstract art workshop designed to help you paint from the heart. Guided by artist Nicole Duyst, you’ll explore intuitive techniques, colour play, and expressive mark-making to create your own beautiful abstract artworks.
Whether you're new to painting or looking to reconnect with your creative flow, each workshop offers a relaxed, uplifting space to experiment, explore, and spark new ideas.
As part of the experience, you’ll also be invited to share your vision for arts and culture across the Isaac region — your insights will help shape the Isaac regions 2026-2031 Arts and Cultural Strategic Plan.
What to expect:
- Hands-on instructions
- All materials provided – just bring an apron to protect your clothing!
Important details:
- Participants must be aged 14 years and over
- Limited spots available – you must register to secure your place
- Each free workshop is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government and Isaac Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland
Come along, connect with others, and let your imagination lead the way. See you there!
