Queensland Mental Health Week (QMHW) is an annual awareness week that aims to shine a spotlight on individual and community mental health and wellbeing. This initiative is linked to National Mental Health Week and World Health Day, which is held on 10 October every year.

Presented by the Coastal Community Development Service Neighbourhood Centre, the Dive in for Mental Health event will take place from 4.30-9pm on Saturday 10 October at the St Lawrence Pool. This free event will include a movie and BBQ dinner, and will also see the St Lawrence Pool officially opened.

To register to attend please complete your registration below or call 1300 ISAACS. RSVPs are required to ensure COVID compliance.

QMHW encourages us all to think about our mental health and well-being, regardless of whether we may have a lived experience of mental illness or not. The week also gives us the opportunity to understand the importance of mental health in our everyday lives and encourages help-seeking behaviours when needed.

Council is committed to maintaining safe practices that comply with the Queensland Government framework for COVID Safe events. We ask that all attendees comply with social distancing measures and frequently use the hand sanitisers that will be available. Attendees will be required to complete a contact tracing form upon arrival. Attendees who are unwell must not attend.
