Is the EOI for both the pool and camping area?
Council's preferred option is for a single operator to manage both, but is open to receiving EOIs for either the Aquatic Operations or the Camping Ground Operations alone.
Can proposals be submitted for only one component (pool or camping)?
No. Proposals must address management of the entire site. Respondents should demonstrate how both components will be operated together.

Will Council provide financial support?
Council may consider financial support or negotiated arrangements, particularly where strong community outcomes are demonstrated. This will be assessed as part of the EOI process.
What are the expected operating hours?
Operating hours for the pool will be informed by community consultation outcomes. Respondents may propose variations, with justification.
Are site inspections available?
Yes. A site inspection opportunity will be provided.
Can improvements or upgrades be proposed?
Yes. Respondents are encouraged to propose improvements or enhancements, subject to Council approval.
Who is responsible for maintenance?
The successful operator will be responsible for routine and minor maintenance. Details will be outlined in the lease/licence agreement.
What insurances are required?
A minimum of $20 million public liability insurance is required. Additional insurances may be specified in the agreement.
Business continuity insurance may be required.

Yes. Council reserves the right to negotiate with one or more respondents as part of the EOI process.
Is this process binding?
No. This EOI process is not a contract. Council is not obliged to accept any submission.
