Council is seeking your feedback on the concept design for the new Glenden Hub. The concept design provides a first look at how the spaces might be arranged and used to best meet community needs.
Through previous community consultation, the former childcare centre site has been identified as the preferred location for the new Hub. This survey seeks to affirm community support for the preferred location and gather your feedback on the proposed concept design.
Your feedback will help refine the final design and ensure the Glenden Hub reflects the needs and aspirations of the Glenden community.
Isaac Regional Council are committed to supporting the people of Glenden and providing comparable services that are available in the region’s other towns. The Glenden Community Hub, currently located in the Town Square Precinct owned by Glencore Coal Queensland Pty Ltd, houses the library, customer service desk and staff office space. Whilst Council currently operates the Glenden Hub in the leased shop front its lacks capacity for growth in service provisional and is a high operational cost. Council is investigating and assessing the future location of the Glenden Hub, and wants to know what you, the Glenden community think!
