Instead of holding meetings of Isaac Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee in Moranbah, hold meetings around the Isaac region subject to resourcing. Invite interested locals to meet the committee members and share ideas.
Launch a campaign asking locals to share their view of “What art and culture means to you” in conjunction with some kind of competition.
Approach Community Radio 4RFM to find out if they would be interested in holding a podcast about arts and culture in the Isaac with speakers such as members of the Isaac Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee and members of arts and community groups. Perhaps this could feature as part of their existing “Untold Stories of the Coalfields” podcast.

For example, the established arts group could auspice the activities of creatives from communities that do not have a dedicated arts group.

Offer opportunities for local creatives to have exhibitions in local gallery spaces so that they may “show and tell” their artworks and crafts. Target a variety of ages from children at kindergarten, primary school aged children, youth and adults.
Encourage local groups to partner when organising community arts events and projects.
Investigate whether it is feasible for Council to host an online database of Isaac based creatives. Consider whether the Speak Up platform can host it.
Allocate a budget for briefing Council’s Brand Media and Communications team to prepare communications materials about; The current members of the Isaac Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee, Successful RADF grants, Community driven arts processes, The benefits of volunteering and supporting local groups to carry out arts and cultural events, winners of Isaac awards for Australia Day and Inspiring Women that have an art and cultural aspect and What is RADF
