Seven communities will come together in March during Queensland’s Women’s Week to recognise and celebrate the powerhouse females in our region that enrich and strengthen Isaac communities.
Inspiring Women in Isaac events will be held across the region in Clermont, Dysart, Glenden, Cape Palmerston, Middlemount, Moranbah and Nebo.
Women and men are encouraged to attend events to support our Inspiring Women in Isaac, creating a more equal Queensland where everyone is valued and whose contributions to our communities make Isaac a better place to live, work and play.
Local female role models and leaders, as well as being mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives and daughters.
Here in the Isaac region, we’re not short on inspiring women who lift others up, give selflessly and break through barriers.
The theme for Queensland Women's Week 2024, held from 4th to 8th March is Count Her In.
This theme is a call to action to ensure women and girls are counted and acknowledges the fundamental right of every woman and girl to equally participate in all areas of our society including education, the economy and workforce, politics and importantly, at home.
Places at some events are limited so attendees are asked to please RSVP via the form below.
