The 2020 Nebo Bush Poet’s Smoko is now in its 19th year, helping to keep alive the great Australian tradition of bush poetry.

The Nebo Bush Poet’s Smoko event is operating in accordance with the Queensland Government COVID Safe Event Checklist. Numbers at the event will be limited by the 4 square metre per person rule.
To attend this event, RSVP is required by calling 1300 ISAACS (1300 47 22 27) or register below by 5pm Thursday, 15 October 2020.
As a reminder, when considering attending any of Council’s events, facilities or activities, please remember to adhere to all health and safety directives from Queensland Health as signed.
Physical Distancing
A minimum space of 1.5 metres between you and other people that aren’t from your household.
Don’t exceed max group numbers as signed.
Numbers to the event will be limited by 4 square metre rule.
Practice strong hygiene
Stay at home if unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.
Cough and sneeze into a tissue or into your elbow. Dispose of tissues in a hygienic manner.
Hand washing with soap and water frequently for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser before and after any contact with hard surfaces.
