Consultation has concluded
Isaac Regional Council is trialing a change to operating hours at customer service counters and libraries in regional branch locations, closing for a period of 30 minutes during each business day.
The change to operating hours is being undertaken on a trial basis for four months and community members are invited to provide feedback on the change during this time.
From Monday, 2 August 2021 the following will apply to offices which otherwise operate a scope of hours from 8.30am-5pm weekdays
Glenden, Nebo and St Lawrence
Council offices will close between 12.30pm and 1pm
Dysart and Clermont
Libraries and customer service counters will close between 1pm and 1.30pm
Middlemount
Customer service counter will close between 1pm and 1.30pm, while operating hours for Middlemount Library remain unchanged
These changes do not impact Council’s phone-based transactions and customers in all locations will be able to contact Council by calling 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227) 24 hours, 7 days a week.
