Sunday Workshop Registration

Printmaking workshop with artist Brigitte Zimmermann Sunday 3 November from 1.00pm to 3.00pm (afternoon tea from 3.00pm to 3.30pm)

Location: BA Hall, 93 Rubyvale Road, Clermont

Event Description: Join us for an exciting and creative Gel Plate Printing workshop with talented artist Brigitte Zimmermann! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in exploring new printmaking techniques.

A gel plate is a modern, press-free take on mono-printing, allowing you to create stunning textures and layers of colour. You’ll learn how to make vibrant paper suitable for book covers, collages, wrapping paper, envelopes, cards, or bookmarks.

What to expect:

  • Hands-on instructions
  • All materials provided (feel free to bring your own mark-making items like feathers, leaves, or lace) – just bring an apron to protect your clothing!
  • Afternoon tea and light refreshments included

Important details:

  • Participants must be aged 16 years and over
  • Limited spots available – you must register to secure your place
  • This free workshop is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government and Isaac Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland

Don’t miss this chance to unleash your creativity and learn from a master printmaker. See you there!
