OVERVIEW:
Races will take place in heats. Depending on the number of rafts that are registered, will depend on the number of heats that are held.
Please keep in mind, your raft will need to be constructed so that 1-4 members from your team can float on the raft and race - consider creating paddles to propel yourself. The team members who wish to be on the raft to race MUST be able to swim. (use of life jackets are highly recommended)
The first and second winners from each heat will qualify to compete in the final race.
IMPORTANT: Rafts must be dropped off to the pool early on the morning of the event (between 830am and 930am, Sunday January 26th). This is to allow the Dysart Australia Day Planning Committee to cross check and ensure all rafts are constructed with the appropriate materials before they are able to be raced in the water.
